A 14-year-old boy went for a physical exam to be cleared to play sports. His doctor found an irregular heartbeat. It wasn’t causing the boy any symptoms, but the doctor pushed a cardiac ablation procedure to correct the irregular heartbeat. The doctor ablated too close to the coronary artery and the boy required a heart transplant.
A man had minor shoulder pain from a pinched nerve. His doctor recommended a three-level spinal fusion. After the surgery, the surgeon failed to recognize an epidural hematoma, which rendered our client a paraplegic.
The doctor had $2 million in insurance coverage. We demanded that he and his practice pay much more.
A young woman had a feeding tube replaced. After her doctor pumped air inside her to replace the tube, she developed abdominal compartment syndrome. Because her doctor failed to recognize and treat the compartment syndrome, she died hours later. This verdict was for the hour of conscious pain and suffering that Ms. Weil experienced, which was the only damages collectable in this case.
When a grandfather was inappropriately touching his adopted granddaughter, I pushed aggressively for a settlement that would compensate the young girl and deter the grandfather from future misconduct. After we discovered the grandfather had very few liquid assets, we demanded that he sell his vacation condo to compensate the young woman. The proceeds of that sale were $310,000.

WHY CHOOSE SAM
Unlike most injury firms, who sign up hundreds of cases and assign them to inexperienced attorneys, Sam maintains a small, selective caseload, allowing him to dedicate time to each client and prepare for every case as if it will go to trial.
